Westfield White participated in an indoor tournament at Center Court. Although losing all three games, the team showed tremendous progress and played very good team baseball. In the first game, Graham and Liam pitched very well against Scotch Plains Fanwood Raiders Futures. At the plate, Liam, Graham, Hnery and Devin each got a hit.

In the second game, Nico pitched four shutout innings against South Orange-Maplewood Cougars Red. Nico struck out seven batters. Devin followed with two strong innings, giving up only one earned run. Westfield White was one out away from a victory before the Cougars strung together a few hits to take the lead and ultimately win the game. Henry smashed an RBI double.

In the third game, Lucas and Liam pitched great on the mound. Liam also paced the team with two hits. Grayson also hit a bomb to left field that just missed being a home run.

There were some terrific defensive gems, including a great catch by Grayson in the outfield and a two great plays by Bo in right field.

Although the outcome was not what the team wanted, the tournament was a lot of fun and a great way to kick the spring season off!
