May 17, 2026 – Temperatures reaching the mid-90s did nothing to slow down Westfield White as the team swept a double header against Berkeley Heights Navy at Gumbert Park. In front of a raucous crowd, Westfield White poured it on inning after inning, winning the first game 16-4 and the second game 26-11.

The bats were hot from the jump, as every player recorded at least one hit during the first game. Graham, Niko, and Nico each had two hits, with Jack tallying three RBIs during the game. On the mound, Henry started and secured the victory. Niko followed up with two scoreless innings, which included three strikeouts.

In the second game, Jack was the offensive star as he compiled three doubles and drove in 5 runs. This was just part of a 21-hit barrage as Liam, Lucas, Graham, Nico, and Troy had two hits each. Noah and Bo had three hits each.

Jack started before giving way to Lucas, who scattered four hits over two innings. Grayson came on to close the game out by firing a scoreless inning.

For his all around effort (offensively and catching multiple innings on an extremely hot day), Noah recieved the MVP award. For his terrific plays at first base and multiple hits, Troy received the Heart and Hustle Award.
