Coming off their first USABL spring loss, Westfield White bounced back in a big way against Mountainside on May 31st. The charge was led by the birthday boy – Graham – who pitched three strong shutout innings with five strikeouts. At the plate, Graham went 2-3 with an RBI.

The scoring started in the first. After Liam doubled down the leftfield line, he came around to score on a hit by Nico (who went 2-2 on the day). Jack, Noah, Niko, and Bo also contriburted hits and had RBIs in the game.

Niko followed Graham’s strong start with two strong innings, and flamethrower Jack came in to close theings out, with Westfield White winning 13-9.

With that win, Westfield White clinched first place in their division and earned a first round bye in the playoffs!
